![]() ![]() When uTorrent version 3.5.3 is no longer a beta version (or even faster if we feel the need to) we will remove all older uTorrent 3.x versions from the whitelist. ![]() If you have uTorrent 2.2.1 or 2.0.4 all you have to do is disable the Web UI (if it is enabled) and change the advanced setting "net.discoverable" to false.įor those who use uTorrent version 3.x please update to the latest version of uTorrent, 3.5.3 (it fixes the vulnerabilities this is a beta version) or downgrade to an older and allowed version of uTorrent (2.2.1 or 2.0.4). Older uTorrent versions 2.0.4 and 2.2.1 are not affected in the same way as uTorrent versions 3.x. You may have heard that in the last few days vulnerabilities were found in old and new versions of uTorrent. ![]() Same for banning Azureus on some retarded trackers. I'm not sure why the latest version which has the problem fixed is not allowed, same as some other versions, instead of making the tracker compatible with most clients it's easier to just blacklist. It's responsibility of the peer/user to choose the right client according to his/her needs not dictated by the tracker !!!. IMHO it's total bulshit to ban clients as long as they report correct data. 1- Yes and it's referenced in other comments.Ģ- Paranoia. ![]()
